Delete your AVSpot account

Delete your account in the app

This is the quickest way, and it takes effect straight away.

1. Open AVSpot and sign in.
2. Go to Settings, then Account.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Can't get into the app?

Email contact@sonoranapps.com with the subject "AVSpot account deletion request", sent from the email address on your Google or Apple sign-in. We'll confirm the request is yours, delete the account, and reply once it's gone, usually within 7 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently erases everything AVSpot stores about you:

• Your profile: name, email address and profile photo
• Every sighting and spotting session, with your notes
• Your Hangar collection and stats
• Your saved spotting locations
• Every photo you uploaded, including resized copies
• Your push notification tokens

Deletion can't be undone. To keep a copy of your logbook, export it first from Settings, then Export Sightings.

What we keep

Shared aircraft reference data (aircraft types, airlines and registrations) isn't personal data, so it stays, but it's no longer linked to you. Copies in Google Firebase's backup systems are purged on Google's own schedule.
